...put on a Happy Face! That's my song these days. I feel everyday I've putting on my Happy Face, but the sky is still Grey! Today it's really Grey in Dallas. I thought it would rain, but I guess it's passing us by. We really need to have rain here or nothing will grow but the weeds! I'm sharing a card I made this past week using a Whipper Snapper stamp that I really like and a verse from Verve.
She is so cute just standing in the rain! She's even trying to send sunshine your way! I think I added a few too many white dots to her face, but I like her anyway. Must have been playing in her Mom's makeup! The printed paper is from a Spring DCWV stack.
Barry was off the last two days. Of course I didn't get anything done. I never seem to, but I do get to take nice long naps! I lost him on the computer late in the afternoon for several hours and that allowed me to my nap time. Boy that was good! Since Barry left for work early this morning I've tried to get some stuff done around the house. Now I just have to finish changing the bed linens and putting the breakfast dishes in the dishwasher. I also got some cards made for several orders. As much as I like making cards, I don't really like to do special orders. I guess because I never know where a card is going to take me. I draw it out lots of times, but by the time it gets from my stretch to the card, it will have changed and I like that. Well, I hope both customers buy what I've made. I'm waiting to hear.
I'm off to do something before the 6 o'clock hour rolls around and my honey is home from work and my time isn't my time again! He's off tomorrow, but has a Lion's meeting tomorrow night. That means NO cooking dinner or listening to him in the evening!!
