Mr Army is a Moose! This is another one of those sample cards I made using the newest Riley Moose from Hanna Stamps. He's so USA! I've had this printed paper for several years from SU and I'm trying to use some of it up. The star is from the SU punch.
The Bloom Zoo just keeps rolling along the same. Not much of anything has changed. I did read a really column in the paper last week that a freelance writer wrote about her family. Her DH has been out of work for the last year or so and it was about things she's missed and little bits of her life. I never knew how much I missed Starbucks until I couldn't go anymore. I was never someone who lived there. Just a cup of White Chocolate every so often was nice. Now, I'd never spend $4 for ONE cup of coffee. I can get a whole lot more at home for that! Another thing she spoke about was the feeding habits of our partners when they are home 24-7! If you've ever had this happen, I don't even have to go any further with this, but incase you haven't been blessed yet, it goes like this....what's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?!?!
When I say I have enough stamps, paper, brads, and ribbon to last a lifetime, believe me, I do, but the thing I miss the most is NOT being able to get the newest, latest, most prettiest papers out there! It's not so much of having them, it's that I can't even if I want them. I hope that makes sense to you. I'm not a lover of cooking. Ask my kids. They used to pay me not to cook. Now I know it's not really "that" bad, but if I could go out for at least once a day, I'd be much happier. That's another one of those things I miss with money almost not there!
These are only things, I know, and because I'm human, I still miss them sometimes. I used to say well at least we have our health. But the older I get, the less I have of that too.
Thank you friends for listening to my rambling on and on today. It must be that time of the month!!
Aww....I'm hoping things get better for you! Rob still has his job (knock on wood) but who knows for how long....sooooo many companies around here are closing or laying off...lots of his friends have lost their jobs. Hopefully Ebay is going well for you, so you have at least a *little* spending money. Hugs to you, my friend!
