I can't believe I only have a few more weeks to make Christmas cards. Where has the time gone? It just seemed like September and I had all the time in the world. Now, not so much time! It's too bad the economy is so bad. My cards are the best this year and people can't afford to buy them. Oh well, I can't worry about money. After all, it's the season of miracles and I hope I have one or two left!
Barry is still in training at the Walmart. Yesterday he ran into a neighbor of ours and found out he's working there too. He got laid off a while ago and it seems they are the only one hiring these days. It really is a sad state of affairs when unemployment pays more then a job! But look at the bright side, I have time to take a nap all by myself!
The Coffee
And the Cookies!
The coffee card is made from a really old set of SU stamps. I keep hanging onto that set. I found this blue paper in my stash and wanted to use it for something other then baby cards. The gingerbread boy card uses some new Basic Grey paper that will only be sold at Michael's this year. I have no idea why, but it's pretty. The only bad thing is that it doesn't come in the small size of 6x6. I really like using that size better because the size of the pattern is better for cards, but when you get 50% off you can't be choosy!!
I'm off to get the trash out and make some today. Maybe some Snowmen cards would be a good idea. It's going to be very cold tonight. No snow, but cold!
Have a great day and hurry back!
Darling cards Paula! I love the bling on the gingerbread man buttons! Maybe you can sell the cards next year on ebay. Stay cozy! Hugs, Deb
