Ok, I'm A Snob

Yes, I will be the first to admit this about myself. I'm a card snob! I love good paper. I love good inks, and I love good quality stamps! I think I love everything there is about card making including the MAKING of the cards! So why you ask do I think of myself a SNOB. Because I only want the best of everything! OK, so I sucked you into this one, but I really do only like to create with TOP quality items. I buy some of that $ stuff, but hardly ever use it. So this brings me to the point of this silly post----DO YOU BUY MORE $ STUFF THEN YOU'LL EVER NEED AND DON'T USE IT???? (Like ME)

Not much new to report in the Bloom world today. I managed to make a card or two and even list some one ebay. I'm trying to get into the holiday things, but it's hard. I did get some new stuff from Lizzie Anne today and can't wait to play with the new paper. While watching TV tonight I keep think about how to use the 8x8 paper to get the most out of it. No job yet for Barry, but we have some new leads. Even that is a good thing.

This card was made using some new Basic Grey which matches perfectly with the newest colors from Stampin Up. I'm still using my Priceless set as much as ever. I love all the elements that come with the set. The Just A Note is from Verve.

Door Prize Gift

I haven't been on line lately and one of the reasons is because I've been busy working on this gift for a door prize. It's for Barry's Lions Club's 25 Anniversary party on Saturday night. Each couple was asked to bring a gift and this is ours. I used a tried and true SU set of stamps along with a little verse from Verve to create this cards. The printed papers are from Stampin Up's new Holiday Mini. I love the off-beat look of this colors. Very UN holiday!

 

 

Not much new at our Zoo. I've been feeling a little under the weather the last fews so I really haven't wanted to scrap. Barry went to in for his CAT scan yesterday so now we have to wait for next week to see the doctor. I'm sure all is well and hopefully we won't have to go back until we have insurance! Nothing new in the job search. I'm busy trying to keep him from feeling down. I think I do a pretty good job at that. Now if someone would like to pick me up....

Well, I'm off to try and work on something. Anything! Barry is at a headhunters and should be home before you know it. So I'm off to work!!

Happy World Card Making Day or

my full day without the in laws!! This is how I like to spend my morning! Me at my computer, coffee in hand, and Barry sleeping! Is there a better way to start your day??? Well maybe looking out at the Ocean would be better, but since I am land locked, I'll take this! We took them to the airport yesterday and checked them in. The lady at the counter asked if we wanted passes to go into the airport to wait with them...poor thing...Barry and I both said NO at the same time. I love his parents dearly, but enough is enough. I'm sure my kids say the same thing about us, so it's ok!!

Because it's World Card Making Day and I'm not doing any cards for the actives that are planned all over, I'll just share some I made earlier this week.
