Riley is Feelin' Lucky!

I think Riley the Cowboy is feeling lucky today and I'm hoping that luck rubs off on the rest of us! Barry is still in the running for the job he applied for last week. They say they are still checking his resume. What more do they need to know? He's been in the IT field for over 40 years!!!! I'm only going to think good thoughts today, I'm only going to think good thoughts today! This afternoon we are going to Madelyn's Pre-K graduation. She's off to the regular school on Monday. Those 5 years have passed way to quickly. She's not our little baby girl anymore. If I ever have a doubt of that, I just listen to her speak. Nothing "baby" about that girl anymore!!

About the card---Riley is a stamp from Hanna Stamps. I love them all. The other parts of the card are from my Lizzie Annie Cowgirl set. I love to mix-and-match sets. That's the beauty of stamping. The paper is from My Mind's Eye. I love all their papers. The texture is so nice and thick. I had an idea for this card and drew it up. Usually that's where my best idea's stay. So many times that piece of paper doesn't work out to be what I wanted when I started but this was very close at the end. Riley was colored with Copics and then cut out to stand in front of the cactus. I couldn't find the right color ribbon to use so I cut a piece of the stripe card stock and just used the back side. Perfect match!!

I'm off to do something this morning. No I don't have a clue, but I really need to make something or at least pretend!!

Hi Paula ~~ cute card!! Just wanted to say Hi, haven't chatted in a while. Yep, Maddy's a big girl now, just like Michael is no longer a baby. He starts K in a week & a half. Part of me is sad, but part is yelling "I'm going to be FREEEEEEEEE!!" I'll be subbing in the school district so that will be fun & will keep my busy, I'm sure. And the extra cash will be nice!!

(couldn't help but notice you changed the spelling of "blooms", lol ~~ those rude people finally got to you, huh??? I would have left it, but I'm a rebel that way!!!)
