I know we all love to see new projects posted on blogs, but just for a moment I wanted to ask for your prayers for a friend of mine Deb in San Diego who has been ill and now is in the hospital. She has had some major problems and will need all our prayers for a speedy recovery. And if your not still too busy with that, maybe you could keep my husband's job searching in your prayers as well. He didn't get the job he thought he would and there doesn't seem to be much else out there in the IT field right now. He's in good humor right now about it, but that only lasts as well as there is paychecks coming. Now onto a lighter moment...
Monday I went and had a great visit with my friend Kimberly. I took a box of Riley stamps out there and she stamped away making images. I don't know how Kim does it. She has 4 children under 5 and handles life with grace and humor! Big thumbs up to Kimberly!!
I made a total of one card yesterday. It turned out cuter then I thought. It's a set from Darcie's stamps that I bought several years ago and it just saw ink. I have way too many of those sets! We are going to have a yard sale next weekend and maybe I can get rid of some of the "extra" stuff I don't use. I know I won't get much, but I'd just like to see the back of my drawers!!
Isn't he a darling bear!! I stamped the "boot" images across the bottom. I felt as if the card needed something else, but didn't know what. I added some denim brads I had in the ole stash. I''m not sure, but it's too late once you make the holes!
I made this card over the weekend and wanted to share with you. I love how it turned out. The verse is from the Plain Jane series of stamps over at Verve. I used some of that Basic Grey paper that we love to collect and hate to use. I'm trying to let things see the light of day. I added lots of glitter to the flowers.
I guess that's it for the day. We don't really have much planned for the day. We did all our running yesterday. I'm going to work on some projects and Barry I'm sure will spend a good part of the day on the computer "reworking" his resume! Hugs to all!
Oh, goodness. It is "than" not "then".

Wow ~~ I see people are still critizing your grammar! How rude!! I'm sorry about your friend, I will keep her in my thoughts, along with Barry & his job journey! Your cards are great ~~ love the bear, and I love the beautiful, glittery card. Good luck with that rummage sale!! Wish I was there so I could come, I'd probably buy all your stamping stuff & then it would clog MY drawers, lol!!

Beautiful cards, and I especially love the way you used the Plain Jane! And as for the grammar police -- don't let the turkeys get you down!!! (((Paula)))

I just can't express how much I love your art. I will surely keep your friend and husband in my prayers. As for your friend with all the children, god bless her. I am watching my two grandchildren and can't get a thing done in the house let alone stamping. How did I get things done with my three?? And they were many years apart. Its was a miracle I guess. Keep up the great blog. I love receiving the updates.
