Yesterday I got my new stamps from Verve Visual. They are the nicest little verses I've seen. I can never have enough stamps that say something. I know lots of card makers just put an image on the front of a card, but I'm like Hallmark, and want my cards to say something! Anyway I made this card using a few of the VV sets. Can't have too many stars. They have such a neat gallery with wonderful ideas and at this time in the morning, I need all the idea's I can get!
I love the way it turned out. I got this paper yesterday at Michael's. They finally got some new stuff in the store. I have lots of copper pieces of hardware and thought it would be great for a guy graduation card. I stamped the stars out and then embossed them with copper power. The words and stars on the inside of the card are in craft brown. What do you think?
I have a nice easy Barry free day today. Yes, he's at work, like usual, but he has a meeting tonight and I don't have to worry about what's for dinner. We've cut out so much of the "going out" out of our budget and I'm trying to use up the leftovers when we have them that a night I don't have to even eat if I don't want is perfect for me! Barry is easy to please with meals. He's not picky about what he eats, so he's easy to please in the meal department. I need to work on some cards today. I did make several yesterday, but I really have to get my MOJO in a faster motion soon. I need to make my MIL something for Mother's Day besides a card and that usually means cards! Everytime I've made something for her, a paying customers buys it. I know she would approve of me selling it instead of giving it to her. She always feels so bad when she comes to visit and I tell her to take what she wants. I plan ahead when she comes so she has a good pick of cards to chose from.
Well, enough of my family tree. I really do need to take a shower and get out of my PJ's. That the good and bad of working from home. No reason to get fancied up. The sleeping gear works just fine for ink and glitter!
Hugs to you all. I wish I could meet and give each of my friends a big hug and kisses for your continuing friendship, but just knowing that you're out there somewhere is enough for now.
Paula

I always find it difficult to make cards for guys. Why is that? The card you made today is a perfect guy card for any occasion. Love your work. Have a good day!
