I know that sounds silly, but I made a card that I want to post tomorrow so I can get credit for the April month in my DT design work, so if you pretend, then so can I! A good friend of mine made a card using a layout that I fell in love with and all last night I keep thinking about doing something similar, so I found paper that I liked and a Kitchen Sink Stamp set that I already had and turned it into a FUN card! I used the Happy Birthday Cupcake set. When I got the set I cut the HB into two different pieces. It was one large long stamp, but I liked it being two so I could place the words anywhere on the paper that way and didn't have to mask anything! I'm a bit lazy for thing like that. I stamped the Happy out and then cut it apart to circle the Cupcake. I haven't used my Spellbinder Circles very much, but they are another perfect thing for this card. I paper pieced the cupcake to match the printed paper. I'd say it's looking good.
We didn't do a whole lot over the weekend, but we spend some time together. On Saturday Barry had a Lion's thing and I went with him. I had motive behind the madness. He took me to the stamp store on the other side of town. I got a few new stamps from Great Impressions and a Hero Arts stamp I've been wanting. Next we went to Wally World and the new Koren Market that opened up near us. I get the best fresh fruits and veggies at their store. Really good prices too. On Sunday we just were lazy and watched TV most of the day. I didn't work on anything crafty. I've had this huge headache for a few days. I think it's the weather. It really got to me today. I'm still kinda lazy. My GF called this morning when I was taking out the trash and I didn't even call her back. Sorry Gretchen. Forgive me.
Well, I'm off to take something else for the headache. The Bayer didn't really work. Maybe when the rain stops it will be better!
