It's that time of the year to start thinking about cards for the graduate, so that's what I did yesterday. It's a design I've used before, but I really like the way it looks and it's so easy to do. My Cuttlebug folder was used for the background and I rubbed some ink over top to make the letters stand out a bit, next I stamped the grad from Morning Star stamps in Pretty In Pink. I added some dots with my glitter gel pen and outlined the letter to make them stand out. I found the diploma at in a package of embellishments and changed out the ribbon.
Barry was so happy this weekend because he was able to attend the award dinner for the district Lion's Club members. It was very long and we stayed up too late, but It was a step forward for him. It was also the first time he worn dress pants since he's been ill. I told him he couldn't go in his flannel sport pants which have become his wardrobe of choice these days.
Thanks to everyone for your support in thinking of Barry and I! It's really means so much to us both! Have a wonderful day and come back soon!
